This slick outfit formed in Melbourne in 2005, is hailed as one of the towns best. Made up of some of Victoria & Australia’s top musicians, these four guys can keep the house rocking all night long or take the audience on a blues journey like no other. They come and rock Mona Castle Hotel on the third Sunday of each month.

Jason Vorherr

Jason Vorherr has something for everyone and something for every occasion!  With a vast catalogue, Jason has been well sought after across Melbourne for the past 25 years and is probably best known for his work on the bass guitar with the Little River Band but his solo, acoustic performance is a breathtaking treat.  Among his countless talents, Jason has the ability to create the desired atmosphere and is confident enough to give his audiences a degree of creative control.  Whether your’re in the mood for some relaxed, cruisey afternoon tunes or perhaps a bit of a party, Jason is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face.

Pip Joyce

Pip Joyce is an accomplished guitarist/singer who has been part of the music scene for the last 35 years.He has played in many bands over that time covering RnB, Rock, Blues, Country, Celtic and Pop. For the last 15 years he has performed many solo gigs playing a whole range of styles and songs from many genres. He has played regularly with Glenn Shorrock for the last 10 years and has played for some of Australias biggest names in music. Hear him play at Mona Castle every Thursday.

Dean & Carruthers

Terry Dean and Gary Carruthers have been major players in Melbourne’s live music scene for years. Since teaming up in the 1980′s they have managed to take duo-based live music to unheard of levels of popularity. The extraordinary energy of their vocals and guitar playing makes them sound uncannily like a full band pumping out an inspired mix of country/rock, rhythm & blues music – and especially good-time, sing-and-dance songs for pubs, parties and functions.
